Patti moved to Ocean Shores to escape the heat and the traffic signals. When she could, she enjoyed being able to bicycle on the level terrain. She was a sales associate from June of 1991 to September of 1997 at Coldwell Banker, which later became Prudential and closed in 2009. Over the years, Patti has found it nice to be able to communicate with the city officials directly.   She as well as all community members can put in suggestions to improve and better the whole community.

Living in the area, Patti has found the friendliness and helpful attitude of local businesses such as the Local IGA grocery store and its staff, makes living here so much the better. At one time over half the store made it a challenge to help her find one item, she had to laugh, but the produce department won.
